Billing schedule and payment terms

Refunds and withdrawal policy

- Registration deposits, application (dossier) fees and the one‑time family registration fee are non‑refundable. The registration deposit is deductible from the annual tuition.
- For withdrawal during the school year, parents must submit a written notice to administration. It began operations in September 2003 at 339 Wilbrod Street in Sandy Hill, Ottawa, as a private Catholic French-language school for girls and boys. The school is homologated by the French Ministry of Education and affiliated with the AEFE network. A blessing ceremony for the groundbreaking occurred on May 25, 2005 near the Providence Daycare at 998 Frances Street, Ottawa, and the 2005–2006 school year was a transitional year. Since the 2006–2007 school year, the academy has operated in its current building, which includes classrooms, a gym, a resource room, a computer lab, a science lab, and an arts room, plus a cafeteria and a secure playground; in 2008 there was a blessing of Providence Academy and the unveiling of its acknowledgement board.

1. Age of entry. Maternelle 2 years 4 months; TPS: must have reached 2 years 7 months before December 31 of the entry year. Kindergarten 3 years: age 3 by December 31 of the entry year. Kindergarten 4 years: age 4 by December 31 of the entry year. Preschool 5 years: age 5 before December 31 of the entry year. Primary 1: age 6 by December 31 of the entry year. These age requirements determine placement for the upcoming school year. 2. Primary entrance examination. An entrance examination is required for entry into Primary and tests knowledge in French, English and mathematics. It is held in the second half of March. 3. Kindergarten entry. An interview with the child is conducted before registration for Kindergarten. The interview verifies the child's understanding and expression in French. The interview forms part of the registration process. 4. Admission forms. Registration forms can be completed online by submitting the application. Applications begin December 1st of each year.
