Introduction

Welcome to the International Montessori School - Hof Kleinenberg, situated in a renovated farmhouse dating back to 1651. The campus serves students aged 15 months to 18 years, combining a bilingual (English and French) Montessori curriculum with the International Baccalaureate Middle Years and Diploma Programmes (IB MYP and IB DP). The 1.5-hectare campus includes historic barns renovated with sustainable materials, a greenhouse, and extensive vegetable gardens. A unique aspect of the school is its Land Component program. Students participate in the daily care of farm animals, including ponies and chickens, and manage several on-site beehives to harvest honey. The school also features a distinctive "Rent your own Christmas Tree" project, where trees are replanted in the school gardens after the indoor season. Daily meals incorporate approximately 60% organic ingredients, and children are actively involved in meal preparation and table setting.
