European School Mol is part of the European Schools network and serves pupils from ages 3 to 18, offering the European Baccalaureate. The campus sits on a 20-hectare site in rural Flanders, with outdoor spaces, three indoor sports halls and a 25-metre swimming pool, plus two libraries housing books in European languages. The curriculum is multilingual, with three language sections: Dutch, English and French. From Year 1, students study Language 1 (mother tongue), Language 2 and Language 3, with native-speaker instruction for Languages 1 and 2. A fourth and fifth language can be added from Years 4 and 6. Most teaching is in the section language, while some subjects are taught in other languages to strengthen second-language skills. The school provides ICT-enabled learning, a Domus space for events, on-site dining, and care services. Assessments are issued four times a year, and the European Baccalaureate diploma enables access to EU universities.
