Billing schedule and payment terms

- Tuition invoices are issued annually before classes begin or at the time of registration. Tuition may be paid in three installments corresponding to the term schedule. Invoices are issued in Bahraini Dinars and are payable on or before the due date shown on the invoice. Tuition for a term is payable in full regardless of sickness or absence.

- Enrollment / re‑enrollment deposit secures a student's seat for the next school year; for returning students it is due by 15 May and for new applicants it is due with the application if after 15 May. This deposit is applied to the tuition payment for the next school year.

- Where a cheque is not honored by the bank, an administration charge of BHD 25.000 is levied. In the event of non‑payment by the due date, the school reserves the right to remove the student from the roll.

Boarding fees

- Alia National School operates as a day school; no boarding provision or boarding fees are published.

Other costs and fees

- Book fees are not included in the tuition fees and are charged separately.

- Sibling discounts apply only to main tuition fees (extras and additional fees are not discounted): second child 10% off tuition; third and subsequent children 20% off tuition. The school may withdraw sibling discounts for late or non‑payment in accordance with its terms.

- Uniforms and other compulsory items are governed by the school dress code; costs for uniforms and incidental items (textbooks, activity fees, excursions, exam fees) are additional and are billed separately where applicable.

Refund information

- The application fee is explicitly non‑refundable. The enrollment / re‑enrollment deposit is applied to the next year's tuition. The published fee schedule does not set out a separate general refund policy for term tuition or deposits in the fee schedule document. Specific refund or withdrawal terms are governed by the school's admissions and enrolment conditions and should be confirmed with the school's accounts office.

Fee payment options

- Preferred payment methods are cash or cheque paid directly at the school's Accounts Department (cheques payable to “Alia School”). Electronic bank transfers are accepted; parents must quote the invoice number and student name as the transaction reference and submit the transfer receipt to the Accounts Department so payments can be identified. Direct deposits to the school bank account are discouraged.

Notes on family discounts and additional charges

- Sibling discounts apply only to main tuition fees; extras (book fees, registration, activity charges) are not eligible for the sibling discount. Late payment or returned cheque penalties apply as noted above.
