Fees
Application fees

- There is no separate, published application (enrolment) fee for enrolling at Stradbroke School. Enrolment uses the Department for Education Enrolment Register Application process and the school requires standard proof-of-residency and proof-of-age documentation at the time of application.

Tuition fees / Materials & Services charge (by year group and per term)

- Stradbroke School charges a Materials and Services charge (school charges) that is set by the school's Governing Council and covers consumable stationery, books, resources and equipment (including computers), maintenance of grounds and playgrounds, and an incursion/excursion levy. The school does not publish fixed numerical amounts for annual or term charges in its public Parent Information Book; the exact charge amount is provided to families with the school fee invoice or at the start of each year.

- There are no published per-year or per-term tuition numbers for Reception–Year 6 in the school's public materials. The Governing Council determines the charge annually and invoices are issued to parents.

Billing schedule and payment terms

- The school issues a school fee invoice/information at the beginning of each year or when a child starts at the school. Parents are provided details of the charge and the School Card assistance process at that time.

- Excursion, incursion and similar activity payments are requested via the school's consent/payment system and are to be paid at the time of consent. Cash, EFTPOS and online payment channels used by the school are available for these payments.

Boarding fees

- Boarding is not applicable. Stradbroke School is a Reception–Year 6 day primary school; there are no boarding facilities or boarding fees.

Other costs and fees (uniforms, OSHC, excursions, instrument hire, canteen, levies, voluntary funds)

- Uniform: A school uniform is required for Years R–6. The school operates an on‑site Uniform Shop; uniforms (and similar items) are also stocked through Uniform Management Services at an external retail location. Parents purchase uniforms directly.

- Out of School Hours Care (OSHC): Before‑ and after‑school care and vacation care are provided through the school's OSHC program (operated by an external provider). OSHC fees, session charges and any associated booking or cancellation terms are set by the OSHC provider and billed separately. Families will be invoiced for OSHC attendance in line with OSHC provider processes.

- Excursions/Camps/Incursions: These activities incur additional charges. Parents receive consent forms and payment requests for each activity and are required to pay the stated cost when giving consent.

- Instrument hire and private music tuition: Instrument hire or private tuition (where available) is charged separately and handled through the relevant music program or external providers; hire/purchase costs and any tuition fees are billed in addition to school charges.

- Canteen: Canteen purchases are pay-as-you-go; the school uses a canteen service and orders are placed via the Qkr! app. Canteen prices apply per purchase.

- Voluntary/Tax-deductible funds: The school operates a Library Fund and a Building Fund. Contributions to these funds are voluntary and are tax-deductible; they are promoted as a way to support school resources and facility improvements.

Refund information

- No specific, public refund policy or published refund amounts are included in the school's Parent Information Book. Refunds for fees, excursions, OSHC or other charges will be handled according to the school's invoicing procedures and the Department for Education/OSHC provider policies where applicable. Families are provided fee‑and‑invoice information at billing which will specify any applicable refund or cancellation conditions.

Fee payment options

- Payments accepted by the school include cash and EFTPOS through the Finance Office/Front Office. The Parent Information Book also describes use of the Qkr! app for canteen orders and Edsmart (or equivalent) for excursion/consent payments. OSHC and other external-provider charges are billed through those providers and may accept additional payment methods.

Summary of what is published for the 2026/27 year

- The school's current (2026) Parent Information Book confirms that Stradbroke School charges a Governing‑Council‑set Materials & Services charge that covers curriculum consumables, excursions and facility maintenance, and that invoices with the exact charge are issued to families at the start of the year or on enrolment. The school does not publish numeric annual or term charge amounts for Reception–Year 6 in the public Parent Information Book; therefore the precise per-term and per-year fee figures are not publicly available in the school's published materials.

Admissions

Admissions

1. Stradbroke School is a zoned school. Families must provide adequate proof of residency for enrolment to commence. Living in the Stradbroke School zone does not automatically guarantee enrolment; out-of-zone enrolments may be considered by the Principal if there is capacity. The zoning information can be checked via education.sa.gov.au to determine your local catchment. 2. An Enrolment Register Application form must be submitted to Stradbroke School together with proof of residency and proof of age. The Enrolment Register Application form is downloadable and can be emailed or returned to the Front Office. A student's eligibility for automatic enrolment relies on being in the Stradbroke School zone; out-of-zone applicants may be considered by the Principal if capacity exists. 3. Proof of residency is required. Owners provide a contract of sale or a recent council rates notice plus a gas or electricity bill. Renters provide a rental agreement covering the first 12 months, a bond receipt lodged with Consumer and Business Services, and a gas or electricity bill. If enrolment pressure exists, the rental agreement must be current and cover 12 months; renting a room does not constitute a primary residence; a contract of sale or rates alone may not be sufficient if the property is under construction or not the primary residence. The Principal may request additional documentation to verify living arrangements. 4. Proof of age: A copy of the child's birth certificate or passport; a copy of visa documentation if applicable. 5. Additional information: Include any Specialist Assessments and/or Reports regarding your child with the Enrolment Register Application form if relevant. 6.
