Mater Christi College is an independent Catholic girls' secondary school in Belgrave, Victoria, for students aged 12 to 18. Established in 1963 and owned by Good Samaritan Education, the college serves Year 7 to Year 12 with an open-entry policy. The Victorian Curriculum 2.0 guides learning in Years 7–9, with Year 7 and 8 offering Arts, English, Health and Physical Education, Humanities, Languages (French and Chinese), Mathematics, Religious Education, Science, and Design and Technologies. Years 9–10 focus on core literacy and numeracy with electives, and Year 10 opens into the Senior School with core units and six electives from Arts, Humanities, Languages, and Design and Technology, including an Accelerated VCE option. In Years 11–12 students study VCE, VCE-VM or VET, with pathways that may include accelerated Year 12. Facilities include a Learning Commons, chapel, Café Bene, Pavilion, Scholastica Study Centre, and a Year 12 Lounge, plus six science laboratories, robotics, a Maths Task Centre, and specialist spaces for Visual Arts, Design, and Performing Arts. Co-curricular programs include Space X-Plore to NASA, a France Educational Trip, DAV debating, Writers' groups, music ensembles, and school productions, fostering leadership, service, and global awareness.
