Highgate School is a government primary school in Highgate, Adelaide (4 Hampstead Avenue, Highgate SA 5063) serving Reception to Year 6. The school teaches the Australian Curriculum and is an accredited International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme school (accredited 15 May 2024); it also runs a French bilingual/binational programme that harmonises Australian and French curricula, with French as the language of schooling for participating students and progression into the programme at Unley High School for secondary years. Instruction is primarily in English; Modern Chinese (Mandarin) is taught as a compulsory language for most students and an Intensive English Language Program supports newly arrived learners.
