Davis Creek Primary School is an Authorised IB World School delivering Primary Years Programme (PYP) since November 2023. At 65 Wootten Road, Tarneit, Victoria, it serves children aged 3 to 12 and follows an inquiry-based Programme of Inquiry comprising 4 to 6 units yearly, aligned to Victorian Curriculum and guided by six transdisciplinary themes: Who we are; Where we are in place and time; How we express ourselves; How the world works; How we organise ourselves; Sharing the planet. Mandarin taught Foundation to Year 6, while literacy is developed through Reader's Workshop and Writer's Workshop and mathematics through Understanding, Fluency, Problem Solving and Reasoning. The school offers Visual Arts, Physical Education, STEM and Performing Arts, with EAL support. Facilities include a Performing Arts and Physical Education Building (PAPE), outdoor playground, a kindergarten and inclusive playground. Community Hub offers English classes, playgroups, wellbeing activities and family support for migrant and refugee families.
