History
St. Matthew's College opened its doors in 1981 with the mission of forming people of good will by providing students with a bilingual, holistic education that promotes academic, creative, physical, social, and moral development. The school began as a kindergarten in a Belgrano townhouse owned by the founding family. In 1984 the primary level opened to meet parental demand to continue the project. The school continued to grow and in 1990 the secondary level began; in 1992 a neighboring house was acquired to expand facilities and a significant property in Pilar was obtained for the sports field. In 1999 the North Campus opened to serve the Pilar community and surrounding areas. Since its founding, the school has pursued a policy of growth and continuous improvement. The founding campus in Belgrano and the North Campus in Pilar enroll more than 1,900 students daily, with a solid education aimed at educational excellence, complemented by broad sports and arts programs and affectionate support, essential for harmonious and integral growth.

Community
Alumni of St. Matthew's College embody its past, present, and future. The school's Institutional Ideology is reflected in them. Teamwork between families and the school, and the seeds sown over more than 15 years of schooling, bear fruit when graduates begin their own life projects. Admissions
Process of Admissions – St. Matthew's College. The school views choosing a school as one of the most important decisions families make. The school values the interest in its educational proposal. When a new student joins the community, a long‑term bond is established between the school and the family, transcending academics. This alliance must be based on alignment between family values and goals and the school's holistic proposal. In the first in‑person meeting with the Admissions Department, the educational mission is presented, the heart of the project. The fundamental purposes guiding our actions are detailed, and the aspects in which we place special emphasis are highlighted. We begin to build a bond with families with the aim of determining whether our educational proposal is the best fit for the applicant and their family environment. Admissions timeline: Applications are received via an online form on the school site for entry in the next academic cycle until vacancies are filled, in accordance with the maximum number of students established for each group. If there are no vacancies, applicants who have completed the admissions process may join a waiting list. To grant the vacancy, consideration will be given to: the family's alignment with the Institutional Ideology, the availability of vacancies, and the results of entrance activities conducted by the applicant and the Guidance Department, which promotes the applicant's wellbeing. Admission priority: Siblings of students and children of alumni have priority; students who come from the other campus of the school (Founder or North) and families returning from the interior of the country or abroad; provided vacancies exist and applicants have completed the admissions process.
