Bilingual teaching
|
Bilingual teaching PaRK IS Praça de Espanha provides a truly bilingual education in English and Portuguese from age 1, with two highly qualified educators in each classroom. The Early Learning programme creates a bilingual environment where one teacher speaks only Portuguese and another only English, enabling natural language acquisition. The bilingual approach uses a project and play based method with a Reggio Emilia inspired philosophy, supporting exploration in both languages across maths, science, reading and writing. The Junior School (Grades 1–4) combines elements of the National Portuguese Curriculum with the Cambridge International Curriculum, strengthening bilingual skills and preparing students for the fully English taught programme from Grade 5 at the Alfragide campus. | Bilingual teaching — |
