Additional learning support
The School Counseling Department provides guidance on social issues, conflict resolution, anger management, stress management, time management and study skills, and supports parents and teachers handling children.
Additional learning support
Learning support is an essential part of the SABIS Educational System at ISC-6 October. Progress is monitored and gaps are addressed through teacher-led study groups and roles such as Prefects and Group Leaders. The SABIS Student Life Organization provides peer tutoring, power study sessions, academic competitions, and on-demand tutoring videos.
Tuition fees by division and year group (annual amounts) - British division (annual tuition): - Pre‑KG: EGP 66,000. - FS1–FS2 (KG years): EGP 66,000. - Years 1–3: EGP 62,000. - Semi‑International division (annual tuition): - Pre‑KG: EGP 42,000. - KG1–KG2: EGP 42,000. - Grade 1: EGP 40,000. - Indicative starting point: published school listings indicate annual tuition generally starts from around EGP 52,000 depending on division and year.
Billing schedule and payment terms - A place is confirmed only after payment of the required first installment; the first installment must be settled within five working days after an offer is made. - Activity and trip payments follow their own deadlines; a short postponement (one week) may be granted after a written parental request. For organised trips, a full refund is issued for sickness on submission of a medical report; trips booked through travel agencies may be eligible for a partial refund (typically 50–70%).
Boarding fees - Maadi Narmer School does not advertise boarding provision; no boarding fees are listed in public school information.
Other costs and typical additional fees - Books and activities are normally additional elements of the annual cost; some listings note that published tuition figures may include or exclude books and activities depending on the division and year — parents should expect book, activity and trip charges in addition to tuition. - Transport (school bus), uniform, exam fees for secondary external qualifications, and optional extracurricular fees apply where relevant; these items are charged separately from base tuition. Contact details are provided for the British and Semi‑International offices for billing or transport enquiries.
Refunds and withdrawals - Trip refunds: full refund granted in case of sickness with a medical report; partial refunds apply for agency‑booked trips (approx. 50–70%). - For tuition and enrolment refunds (for example refund of registration fees or installments after withdrawal), public documents with a full tuition‑refund schedule were not published in the publicly accessible admissions and school pages; parents are required to pay the first installment to confirm a place.
How to pay (payment channels and practical steps) - Initial application and enrolment transactions are handled through the school's admissions system (mns.getscl.com) and by visiting the school premises to sign and submit documents; the school's contact numbers and reception email are available for billing and payment enquiries.
Brief summary of findings and outstanding items: - Public listings and school admission pages supply application/registration fees and headline annual tuition figures for the British and Semi‑International divisions (amounts shown above). - The school's detailed fee schedule showing a full year‑by‑year and per‑term instalment breakdown, explicit tuition refund rules for withdrawal, precise charges for bus routes, uniform, exam and activity fee line items, and definitive payment method options (e.g., specific card processors or bank details) are not published in the publicly accessible pages reviewed. Where specific refund or per‑term breakdowns are required, the school's admissions and billing offices should be contacted directly using the published contact details.
Fee details
Application fees - There is no joining/application fee charged on the first occasion of submitting an application. Once a student is accepted, payment of the required fees is necessary to reserve the place.
Tuition fees (annual and per term by year group) - The school publishes annual tuition levels for core year groups as follows (amounts shown in EGP): - KG 1: EGP 59,300. - KG 2: EGP 64,100. - Primary 1: EGP 81,500. - Primary 2: EGP 81,600. - Primary 3: EGP 82,600. - Primary 4: EGP 82,500. - Primary 5: EGP 84,900. - Primary 6: EGP 95,300. - Preparatory 1: EGP 96,900.
- Per-term breakdown (three-term academic year): fees may be billed across school terms; when split evenly into three terms the per-term amounts calculate as follows (annual fee ÷ 3): - KG 1 per term: EGP 19,767. - KG 2 per term: EGP 21,367. - Primary 1 per term: EGP 27,167. - Primary 2 per term: EGP 27,200. - Primary 3 per term: EGP 27,533. - Primary 4 per term: EGP 27,500. - Primary 5 per term: EGP 28,300. - Primary 6 per term: EGP 31,767. - Preparatory 1 per term: EGP 32,300.
Billing schedule and payment terms - A place for an accepted student is reserved only after the required fees are paid at acceptance. Payment timing for instalments and exact instalment dates are administered by the school's Accounts/Admissions office at registration. - Many schools in the same SABIS network use a multi‑instalment billing pattern (commonly three instalments across the academic year); families should expect the school to set instalment dates during registration and to require the first payment on registration or acceptance.
Boarding fees (if applicable) - The school operates as an English‑medium day school and does not offer a boarding programme.
Other costs and optional extras - Books and learning‑materials fees: - Book fees for KG and primary stages are charged separately; published book fees include KG book fees at EGP 5,210 and primary stage book fees at approximately EGP 5,970. - Book fees for middle and high school stages are commonly higher; published ranges for those stages are shown between EGP 8,570 and EGP 10,000. - Transportation (optional): annual bus/transport fees are charged separately and vary by route/distance; representative published amounts include EGP 15,500 (site listing) and other published figures showing bus fees up to EGP 24,750 depending on distance. These transport charges are optional and billed in addition to tuition. - Uniforms, school meals, extracurricular activities, exam fees and some workbooks are charged in addition to tuition and are billed separately by the school.
Refund information - Payment of required fees is used to reserve a student's place at acceptance; specific refund terms for registration, deposits, or tuition (including any non‑refundability clauses and conditions for rebates) are set out in the school's registration/guarantee documentation and the Accounts office paperwork at enrolment.
Fee payment options - The school's Admissions and Accounts offices handle billing and payment arrangements in person. Parents should follow the school's registration instructions and the Accounts office guidance for accepted payment methods and timing. Typical payment methods used across other International School of Choueifat (SABIS) branches include bank transfer and card payments, and schools commonly request proof of payment to confirm registration; confirm payment method and any processing fees with the school's Accounts office when registering.
Contact for fee administration - ISC‑6 October Accounts/Admissions contact details for billing and payment enquiries: phone +20 100 606 9001 and info@iscoctober.sabis.net. Use these contacts when you need exact instalment dates, official invoices, payment instructions, and the school's written refund policy.
