Fee details
|
Fee details Application / registration fees - One-time application / registration and assessment fee: EGP 45,000 (payable when a place is offered; non-refundable). Tuition fees (full annual and equivalent per-term amounts) - Foundation Stage (FS1–FS2): EGP 280,000 per year — equivalent per term (annual ÷ 3): EGP 93,333 per term. - Year 1 – Year 6: EGP 378,000 per year — equivalent per term: EGP 126,000 per term. - Year 7 – Year 9: EGP 405,000 per year — equivalent per term: EGP 135,000 per term. Billing schedule and payment terms - The school requires payment of the one-time registration fee on acceptance (payment is required within the timeframe set in the offer — registration is explicitly described as a one-time, non-refundable payment). Parents sign the school's payment policy as part of the admissions/registration process and settle fees through the school's finance/collection channels. - The annual tuition amounts above are normally invoiced on an annual basis; the per-term figures shown are the simple one-third division of the published annual fee to represent a termly equivalent. (Per-term figures are calculated from the published annual fees.) Boarding fees - No boarding fee is published for Kent College West Cairo. The school's publicly listed fee items and summaries are for day provision (tuition, registration, transport). If boarding becomes available it is not listed among the published charges. Other costs and regular optional charges - School transport (bus): EGP 49,000 per year (separate from tuition). - Uniform: A school uniform is required; the school publishes a Uniform Guideline for the 2025–2026 year which sets out required items (uniform items and replacement costs are charged separately). - Extra / optional costs that are commonly charged separately (where applicable): extracurricular activities not included in core curriculum, some trips and camps, individual music tuition, learning-support or outside specialist therapy if required, and consumable items or optional exam entry costs; these items are typically invoiced in addition to tuition when used. The tuition figures above are published as covering the core programme of study and related curriculum materials. Refund information - The registration/enrolment fee is described as a one-time, non-refundable payment in the school's admissions policy. Other detailed tuition-refund conditions (for withdrawal or mid-term leave) are not set out in the admissions summary; the registration fee non-refundable rule is explicitly stated. Fee payment options - Payments are processed through the school's finance/collection platforms and coordinated with the finance department at registration. Common accepted methods across the Kent College group include online payment links, bank transfer, cheque and credit card; the school's finance office confirms which methods are accepted for each intake. (Payment methods listed reflect the group's standard options and are consistent with the school's finance practice.) Notes on what is included in the published tuition - The published tuition amounts cover core tuition and curriculum materials (education, books and in-curriculum activities) as detailed in the school's published fee descriptions. Transport, uniform and other optional services are charged separately as listed above. | Fee details Application fee - A non-refundable application fee of EGP 20,000 is payable per child at the point of application. The application fee is refundable only if no place becomes available within one year of the requested entry date or if the candidate, after assessment, does not meet the entry criteria. Registration / placement fees - The school states that a non‑refundable registration fee applies for all students; a specific registration fee amount is not published in the school's admissions policy PDF. Tuition fees (annual and guidance ranges by phase) - The school does not publish a full, year-by-year public fee schedule on its admissions pages. Available published listings from independent school-data services report that annual tuition at King's School The Crown is quoted in a range from approximately EGP 253,000 to EGP 345,000 depending on the pupil's year group and programme. These figures are reported by independent school-directory sources. Per-term detail - A detailed, school-published per-term or per-year breakdown for each specific school year (showing exact annual and term fees by year group) is not publicly available. Where only an annual figure is reported by third-party sources, parents should note that fees are typically invoiced according to the school's invoice schedule (see Billing schedule and payment terms below). Billing schedule and payment terms - All invoices must be paid on or before the due date shown on the invoice. Failure to pay by the invoice date may lead to exclusion of a pupil or cancellation of places for the family. Fees for a term are payable in full regardless of sickness or absence; no term refunds are given for absence. If a child joins after the mid‑term point, the school requires the registration fee, a book deposit fee and half the term's tuition fee for that joining term. Payment methods and charges - Payment may be made by direct bank transfer, credit card (credit card payment is excluded for application and registration fee payments), cheque, or cash at the school Accounts Office. Any related bank charges are the responsibility of the payer. Cheques should be made payable as instructed on invoices. Boarding - The school operates as a day school and does not publish boarding provision or boarding fees for King's School The Crown itself. The school does reference access to boarding places at other schools within the wider Inspired/King's group, but boarding is not listed as an in‑school, feeed service at the Crown campus. Other costs and optional charges - The following additional costs are explicitly listed as chargeable (and therefore may appear on invoices or be billed separately): examination entry fees for GCSE/A‑level/IB, extra‑curricular activity fees, field trips (local and overseas), optional instrumental tuition, cafeteria lunches, school uniform, and bus/transportation. These items are not necessarily included in the headline tuition figure and may be charged as incurred. Refunds and cancellation - Term fees are payable in full and are not refundable for absence. The application fee is refundable only under the limited circumstances noted above (no place becomes available within one year or after assessment where the child does not meet entry requirements). Other refunds or deposit return conditions are not published in detail in the publicly available admissions policy PDF. Summary of available numeric fee detail and gaps - Known, published numeric items: application fee EGP 20,000 (per child); independent listings report annual tuition broadly between EGP 253,000 and EGP 345,000 depending on year group. - Missing from publicly available school documents: a complete, school-published table showing exact tuition per specific year group and exact per‑term figures (the school's public pages and admissions policy do not present a full year‑by‑year and term‑by‑term fee schedule). Independent directories quote annual ranges but do not provide an authoritative per‑year/per‑term fee table issued by the school. If you need a literal export of the school's official fee schedule (the documents that contain exact per‑year and per‑term numbers and any instalment options), those items are not available on the school's public admissions pages; the admissions policy PDF provides the application fee and the school's payment and refund rules but does not publish the full per‑year / per‑term numeric schedule. |

Parents are encouraged to apply through a phone call without redirecting them to the website. Step 2: Arrange Appointment. Application submission will be followed by a call from the admissions office within 24 hours to provide needed information and arrange for an assessment and a parents meeting. Step 3: Assessment Day. On the assessment day, the following documents are required: copy of the pupil's latest Academic Reports; 2 original Birth Certificates; 8 passport size photos; copies of the child's and parents' IDs and Passports; any medical reports (if applicable); and a copy of vaccination records (For Early Years applications). Parents should complete the application form, consents, and sign the payment policy during their visit. | Admissions The school is a selective, mixed‑ability, co‑educational British Curriculum international school for ages 3 months to 18 years. All instruction is in English, with language lessons in Arabic, French and Spanish. Students are assessed for entry to the year group appropriate for their age: Nursery and FS1/FS2 are observed; Years 1–2 are observed; Years 3–6 undertake entrance assessments; Years 7–11 sit online entrance assessments (Verbal, Non‑Verbal, Quantitative and Spatial reasoning) and a short writing task; Sixth Form follows either A Levels or the IB Diploma Programme. The formal application process opens a year before September admission. Steps: submit the application form and relevant documentation; assessment scheduled and registration fee paid; assessments and interviews with the Head of School and Executive Head; place offered; tuition fees and deposit paid. Before applying, provide: parents' IDs, pupil passport and previous school report. For transfers within Egypt, provide a transfer certificate stamped by the current school and the relevant educational department after passing the BISC assessment exam. For international entrants, provide the last two school reports stamped by the Egyptian Embassy or Consulate and passport copies for the child and both parents; foreigners may submit a copy of their residence permit. The application fee is 20,000 EGP per child, refundable if a place is not available within the date or if the child does not meet the criteria; fee may be waived at the school's discretion. Admission criteria include an entrance assessment designed to determine if the student can access the curriculum, exemplary academic and behavioural records, native English speaker status, and siblings already attending; early application is encouraged. Wait lists are common; the school operates a rolling waitlist for most year groups, with Year 10 and Year 12 entry preferred at the start of the academic year and no later than the end of October, subject to the Executive Head's approval. Being on the waitlist does not guarantee a place; offers are made from the waitlist based on the Admissions criteria. If, toward the end of the academic year, no place is offered, the Admissions team may request a re‑evaluation and, if progress is satisfactory, the pupil may be waitlisted as a priority to roll‑over to the next academic year. Deferrals of up to one academic year are possible. When a place is offered, the family is contacted by telephone and email and must sign the Parent School Agreement and pay the 20,000 EGP application fee plus the first term's tuition. Enrollment is not final until all fees and documentation have been received; the first term is probationary. Conditional offers are governed by the school's policy, with a defined review process. |

Waitlist
|
Waitlist — | Waitlist Waitlists are expected for most year groups; a rolling waitlist is used so applications stay on the list until a place becomes available, with Year 10 and Year 12 entry preferred at the start of the academic year and no later than October, subject to approval. Being on the waitlist does not guarantee admission; offers come from the waitlist according to the Admissions criteria. If there is no offer by the end of the academic year, a re‑evaluation may be conducted and, if progress is shown, the pupil may be waitlisted as a priority for the next year. A deferred application for one academic year is possible. When a place is offered, the family is contacted by telephone and email and must respond by the stated deadline to accept and complete enrolment formalities. |
