History ISD Rome was founded more than 60 years ago by the Roman Congregation of Saint-Dominique to provide Rome and the world with a rigorous and demanding Dominican education, while guiding students with kindness on a journey of openness to the world and integral human development. The school, part of the Odyssey Education group, is accredited by the French Ministry of Education and recognized as a partner school of AEFE. Inspired by Dominican tradition, ISD Rome offers a multilingual education from early years through high school. This enduring mission is reflected in the programs and initiatives IISD has put in place over 60 years in service of its students and families. | History The school has offered a complete educational pathway from early childhood to high school since 1930. Parent teacher association The Parents Association (APE) represents the interests of parents within the Institute International Saint-Dominique de Rome. Parents are full members of the educational community and have regular, trust-based relations with the school. The APE informs about school life in general, ongoing reforms, and student directions; it is authorized to communicate its actions to other parents through documents distributed to students. The APE serves as an intermediary, working in direct contact with the head of the establishment and with the school community (educational counselors, teachers, etc.). The APE collaborates with the school to support the education of the children. Admissions 1. Complete your online application on the Eduka portal. Documents to upload include school reports and photocopies of the parents' and child's passports. The school welcomes students of all nationalities and backgrounds. Every application is carefully and thoroughly reviewed by the school management, who assess each student's ability to integrate and succeed within our educational environment. Enrollment at the Institut International Saint-Dominique of Rome requires full adherence to its educational values as well as its operational rules, which ensure the cohesion of the school community. 2. Pedagogical meeting and admission response. After submitting the application, a pedagogical interview will be offered within 5 business days. Your child's place will be confirmed by email within 2–3 days following the admission committee's decision. The process ensures the child's fit with the school environment is carefully evaluated. 3. Payment of tuition fees. Once admission is confirmed, you are invited to pay the first registration fees. These fees are non-refundable in case of withdrawal. Your child's enrollment will be definitively confirmed by email within 7 days of payment. Rates for 2025-2026, 2026-2027, and 2026-2027 Boarding are published. | Admissions To enroll, submit a non-binding request to join the waiting list for the class of interest. After acceptance, the school will communicate the steps to finalize the enrollment. The 2026-2027 tuition fees can be downloaded.
