Admissions Admissions requirements: An average grade of C+ (65%) or higher over the past two years of schooling. English language proficiency at an intermediate level or higher. Application Process: Step 1 — Submit documents: Application Form; application fee; copy of passport or birth certificate; all official transcripts from grade 9; last two years' official transcripts for grade 9 admission; motivation letter (optional); achievements and awards (optional). All documents must be in PDF format. The admissions team will contact applicants within 3–5 business days. Step 2 — Receive the Letter Of Conditional Acceptance and pay the tuition fee. Step 3 — Receive the Letter Of Official Acceptance and are ready to apply for a visa. Step 4 — Fill out the Study Permit Application. Students who obtain their visa report to FH International High School; FH International creates a newcomer profile and prepares the students for arrival and orientation. Medical insurance coverage is activated once the arrival date is scheduled. Application Deadlines: There are four intakes in the FH school year. Intake deadlines: SEPTEMBER (July 31); NOVEMBER (October 31); MARCH (January 31); MAY (March 31). | Admissions 1. Attend an Open House Event The school indicates that visiting the campus in person is an important element when selecting an institution. Parents and prospective students are encouraged to attend an Open House event to learn more about the school environment. During these events, families can explore the physical facilities, meet the teaching faculty, and speak directly with the administration staff. This provides an opportunity to ask specific questions about the day-to-day operations of Toronto Prep School. 2. Obtain and Review the Admissions Package Families must acquire the official admissions package to initiate the formal application process. This package contains all the necessary documentation required to complete an enrollment file. Parents can choose to view and access this package online via the electronic application form, or they can pick up a physical copy at the main office. Reviewing these materials thoroughly ensures that parents are aware of all required forms and paperwork before proceeding. 3. Submit Documentation for Committee Evaluation The admissions committee formally reviews each applicant's file under an open admission policy that seeks to enroll a diverse student body. Parents should be aware that the school does not require an entrance test for qualified candidates. Instead, the evaluation focuses on finding evidence of good character, maturity, and academic motivation. The committee bases its final assessment on the applicant's personal interviews, past academic records, and recommendations from both teachers and the community. 4. Contact the Admissions Office for Assistance After reviewing all the provided materials, families can seek additional guidance if they have outstanding questions. The admissions office is available to answer remaining inquiries to help ensure the application experience is informative and constructive. Parents can contact the admissions staff directly by calling 416.545.1020 for further assistance. This final touchpoint allows families to clarify any specific details before completing their interaction with the school. |
