The standard instalment plan shown is: a guaranteed‑vacancy payment (BRL 2,200.00) followed by 12 equal monthly instalments for the balance. For students entering after the start of the school year, the annual fee is calculated pro rata by the number of remaining school days and instalments are adjusted accordingly.

The reservation payment is one thirteenth of the annual tuition for the chosen year group and is credited to the family account when enrolment is finalised. External providers supply uniform, catering and transport; those services are charged separately by the respective providers.

English as an additional language
Portuguese and English (or German or French at ESB Rio de Janeiro) play equal roles in school communication, in the classroom and in daily life. Language is learned through immersion, inviting children to dive headfirst into the new language. Faculty members are native speakers who use their mother tongue in the classroom, in the school yard, at lunch and during events to support bilingual learning. Non-native speakers can learn both Portuguese and the second language through immersion. The approach ensures bilingual education from early years through to college within the SIS network.
