Fee details
Fee details Application / Registration fee - A registration payment is required to confirm a place. The school's registration documents show a registration check of €3,000 required at enrollment; another published tuition note references a registration payment of €2,500 for an alternate payment option. Tuition fees by year group (annual amounts and common optional services) - Kindergarten (Soult campus) - One-time annual payment: €12,350. - Annual total if using the 3-installment option: €13,000. - Lunch: €2,000 (annual). - Educational daycare / after-school (16:30–18:00): €2,000 (annual). - Optional "Bilingual Wednesdays" program (11:30–18:00): €3,500 (annual). - Primary (Soult campus) - One-time annual payment: €12,350. - Annual total if using the 3-installment option: €13,000. - Lunch: €2,000 (annual). - Supervised study / after-school (16:30–18:00): €2,000 (annual). - Optional "Bilingual Wednesdays" program (11:30–18:00): €3,500 (annual). - Middle School (Montmorency campus) - One-time annual payment: €12,825. - Annual total if using the 3-installment option: €13,500. - Lunch box (note: applies to certain grades): €1,000 (annual). - Study hall / supervised study (17:00–18:00): €1,000 (annual) as stated in the school's enrollment document. - High School (Montmorency campus) - One-time annual payment: €12,825. - Annual total if using the 3-installment option: €13,500. - No standard half‑board or study‑hall rates are listed for High School in the published enrollment form; the school notes that enrollment in the High School Diploma (dual-diploma) program may incur additional fees. Billing schedule and payment terms - Method 1 (single payment): One-time payment due before September 1st; paying in one instalment qualifies for a 5% reduction on the tuition amount. - Method 2 (registration deposit + instalments): A registration check (the enrollment documents state €3,000) is required at registration and the remaining amounts are collected across scheduled payments (the enrollment documents list payment dates as August 15, November 15 and February 15). Registration is definitive only after the school receives the registration payment. Registrants are required to pay for the entire school year even in case of cancellation. Boarding - The school does not publish boarding (full‑board) services or boarding fees. Published fees refer to lunch / half‑board or lunch‑box options and after‑school study; no residential boarding fee schedule is provided. Other costs and recurring extras - Uniform: the school provides a coat‑uniform for pupils, but no purchase price is listed in the enrollment documents. - School supplies and back‑to‑school packs are referenced in the school's materials (separate supply lists exist); individual supply costs are not listed in the fee tables. - Optional programs and their annual fees found in enrollment materials: - Bilingual Wednesdays (Kindergarten & Primary): €3,500 per year. - Middle‑school lunch box: €1,000 per year. - After‑school study / daycare (varies by level): €1,000–€2,000 per year as listed above by level. Refund policy and cancellation - Enrollment is confirmed when the registration payment is received. The school's enrollment documents state that registrants must pay for the entire school year even in the case of cancellation, indicating that tuition for the year remains payable after cancellation. Fee payment options / accepted instruments - The published enrollment documents specify the payment process using checks (the registration/check amounts and scheduled check dates are listed). No credit‑card or bank‑transfer payment instructions are specified in the published fee documents. Brief notes about items not fully specified in published materials - The published documents give the annual totals for each level and list payment dates and the registration check amount, but do not itemize the per‑installment monetary breakdown for the three‑installment option (i.e., exact amounts for each scheduled instalment are not shown). - There is an inconsistency between two published statements regarding the registration payment: some published notes reference a registration payment of €2,500 for an alternate payment option while the enrollment forms state a registration check of €3,000. Additionally, one published summary shows a supervised‑study fee of €2,000 for certain levels while the detailed enrollment form lists a study‑hall fee of €1,000 for Middle School; these discrepancies appear between the tuition summary and the enrollment PDFs. These points are taken from the school's published tuition summary and from the level‑specific enrollment documents. End of fee overview | Fee details Application / Administration fees - One-off administration (registration) fee charged at the start of the admission process: SELF-PAYER €650. - One-off administration fee when the employer is billed: COMPANY-PAYER €689. - One-time infrastructure levy charged upon initial admission: €6,120 per child. This infrastructure fee is not pro rata and is not refundable; it is waived only for families who pay exclusively for their child's education (see payment-status rules). Tuition fees by year group (annual amounts, per child) - Kindergarten (all-day, twice a week — Tuesday & Thursday): SELF-PAYER €9,945; COMPANY-PAYER €13,480. - Kindergarten (full-time, five days a week): SELF-PAYER €13,054; COMPANY-PAYER €17,143. - Primary & Lower Secondary (Grades 1–9): SELF-PAYER €10,684; COMPANY-PAYER €13,508. - Grade 10: SELF-PAYER €11,950; COMPANY-PAYER €14,904. - Grades 11–12: SELF-PAYER €11,550; COMPANY-PAYER €14,604. Fares may be adjusted if the bus company raises prices. - Wednesday German program (age 4–10, includes canteen; 32 Wednesdays/year): - 8:10–13:15 €1,785 per year; 8:10–15:30 €2,499 per year; 8:10–18:30 €3,024 per year. Cancellations possible until the first day of school; no refund after that date except where explicitly noted. - ASSR exam administration contribution (grades 7–12): €25 per registered student (exam itself free). - Temporary enrollment (grades 1–9, short stays): administration fee €100 and tuition €250 per week (maximum one month). Guest-student terms apply for longer stays. Visiting/exchange-student fees vary by length of stay (examples: up to 3 months: €100 registration + pro rata fees; up to 5 months: €650 registration + half fees; >5 months: €650 registration + full annual fees). Billing schedule and payment terms - The full annual tuition is invoiced at the beginning of the school year. For registrations in the second semester (from 1 February), fees are calculated pro rata (over 10 months). Reserving a place for a later date requires payment for the full school year. - Self-payers: the total bill is collected by direct debit in seven equal instalments (October–April), each debit on the 10th of the month; a signed direct-debit mandate must be submitted via the school's billing portal. Payment by cheque or standing order is not accepted for self-payers. The invoice must be paid within 14 days of invoicing. Returned direct-debit administration fees: €25 for the first returned debit; €50 for the second. - Company-payer / employer-invoiced accounts: invoices are payable within 14 days of the invoice date. Employer confirmations are required for mixed/self-pay arrangements. - Reminder procedure and penalties: a payment reminder is issued after overdue payment; first reminder after 14 days with a €30 reminder fee; final reminder after another 14 days with a €60 fee. Continued non-payment may lead to legal proceedings and jeopardise registration or issuance of certificates. Late deregistration fees apply if cancellation deadlines are missed. Administration fee for cancellations or returned payments is specified. Cancellation and re-registration rules - All deregistrations (school, kindergarten, bus) must be made in writing. Deadlines: for cancellation before the end of the first half-year — November 30; for cancellation effective at the end of the school year — May 31. Missing these deadlines incurs a late fee of €100 per child. Re-registration after deregistration restarts the loyalty-discount counting from zero except for approved temporary interruptions under specific conditions. Refund information - The administration (registration) fee is non-refundable. A one-time infrastructure fee is neither pro rata nor refundable. In general each year commenced is due; in limited cases a pro rata refund may be considered (contact accounts for assessment). Canteen fees are refundable only for health-related absences of more than five days upon presentation of a medical certificate. Other refund entitlements are limited and governed by the school's general terms of payment and cancellation deadlines. Payment by cheque or standing order is not accepted for self-payers. Employer invoicing is supported for company payers. History
History Cours Molière was founded in 1926 in Paris's 12th arrondissement by Madame Suzanne Ange8le Albertine Decrouez, a former Parisian primary school teacher. She opened a small private primary school on Avenue Daumesnil, and in 1935 the school moved to larger premises on Avenue du Ge9ne9ral Michel Bizot. From the early years, Cours Moli8re welcomed pupils from Paris and the neighbouring town of Saint-Mande9, establishing a reputation for academic seriousness and openness to languages. Today the school operates two campuses—Soult in Paris 12 and Montmorency in Paris 3—with the senior school in the Marais, and it welcomes both French and international students from more than 35 nationalities, offering a complete Franco-American curriculum with bilingual instruction and personalized language support. The school has welcomed more than 17,000 students over its history. | History iDSP traces its origins to 1958, when the Association of the German-language School in Paris was formed with support from the German Foreign Office, the German Embassy in Paris, and other partners. The first class began on November 3, 1958, in three rooms at the YMCA near the Trocadéro, with seven students; by year's end there were 28. The school moved to Neuilly in 1959; the primary opened in 1960-61 and a kindergarten was added in 1962, while a nine-class secondary was completed in 1965-66. From 1968-1970 the school relocated during expansion, and by 1970 it accommodated around 600 students; in 1975-1981 the parents founded the Amis de l'école and class councils formed, with enrollment reaching 941 in 1977-78. The main mission remains to provide German-speaking children with instruction in German up to the Abitur, and since the 1990s facilities have been modernized and a bilingual curriculum introduced in 1994, with the EMFA German-French music school opening in 1998-99. |
