Fee details
|
Fee details Application / registration fees - Reserva de vaga (childcare / early-years and Ensino Fundamental I): R$ 1,500. This amount is applied against the first installment of the annual tuition. - Taxa de sondagem (selection/assessment fee) for Ensino Médio admissions: R$ 350, payable by boleto; this fee is credited back against the first installment of the annual tuition if the candidate's matrícula is efetivada. Tuition (monthly figures) — per year group (representative 2025/26 published figures and recent market ranges) - Educação Infantil / Infantil and Early Years: commonly reported in the range of R$ 2,500 — R$ 6,600 per month; one published market listing reports approximately R$ 6,614/month for Infantil. - Ensino Fundamental I (1º–5º anos): commonly reported in the range of R$ 3,000 — R$ 6,600 per month; one market listing reports R$ 6,614/month for Infantil & Fundamental I. - Ensino Fundamental II (6º–9º anos): commonly reported in the range of R$ 3,500 — R$ 5,866 per month; one market listing reports R$ 5,866/month for Fundamental II. - Ensino Médio (1º–3º anos): commonly reported in the range of R$ 4,000 — R$ 6,641 per month; one market listing reports R$ 6,641/month for Ensino Médio. For students enrolled in the International Baccalaureate (DP) option at the Panamby campus, published figures for the IB pathway have been reported higher (for example, R$ 9,500/month in a market listing). Billing schedule and payment terms - The school operates on an annual-fee model (anuidade) that is organized at matrícula. The first installment of the annual tuition is due in January at the time of matrícula confirmation; reservation and assessment payments are deducted from that first installment when applicable. - Under Brazilian school-fee practice and law, the annual tuition may be divided into monthly installments (schemes commonly use 12 monthly parcels, or alternative plans that do not exceed the annual total); adjustments and annual reajustes follow the legal requirements for disclosure and justification. These statutory principles govern how the annual tuition is calculated and presented at the time of matrícula. - Payment deadlines, late fees, and specific installment counts vary by campus and contract; reservation or sondagem payments are tied to the admission timeline and to the first-parcel billing as stated above. Boarding / residential fees - The Colégio Visconde de Porto Seguro operates as a multi-campus day school (campuses listed for Morumbi, Panamby, Valinhos, Portinho Morumbi, Portinho Panamby, Portinho Valinhos and Vila Andrade). No boarding or internato program and no boarding fees are published for these campuses. Other costs and recurring additional fees - Reservation and assessment fees (see above) at admission. Reservation fees are deducted from the first installment of the annual tuition; some assessment fees (sondagens) are refunded against the first installment upon efetivação da matrícula. - Typical additional items parents should budget for (commonly charged by private schools and reported in public guidance and market summaries): school uniforms, textbooks and workbooks, activity fees for extracurricular programs, field trips, transportation (school bus), school insurance, and optional paid services or workshops. These items are commonly billed separately from the monthly tuition and may appear as one-off charges or as separate periodic charges. (The school's admission documentation confirms at-admission administrative charges such as reservation and sondagem; other optional/ancillary services are normally itemized in the school's contract and billing statements.) Refunds and cancellation - The assessment (sondagem) fee for Ensino Médio admissions (R$ 350) is credited against the first parcel of the annual tuition if the student's matrícula is efetivada. The reservation fee (R$ 1,500 where charged) is applied to the first parcel of the annual tuition. The published admission instructions specify these applications of payment. - Refunds, cancellations, and any proportional reimbursements are governed by the contract signed at matrícula and by Brazilian law on school fees (Lei nº 9.870/1999) and consumer protection rules; the law requires the school to present the annual fee calculation and contract terms at the time of matrícula and constrains how annual fees may be divided and adjusted. Specific refund conditions are stated in the school's contract for each enrollment and can differ by case. Fee payment options - At admission, assessment (sondagem) payments are collected via boleto bancário; reservation and tuition installments are organized through the school's treasury as indicated in the admissions documentation. - In practice, private schools in Brazil commonly accept boleto bancário, PIX, bank transfer (TED/DOC), and card payments (credit/debit) via school billing platforms; many schools offer installment billing options and recurring card/recurring-payment setups through school-finance platforms. Payment method availability and any card surcharges or installment rules are set by the school's financial office and are specified in the enrollment contract and payment instructions. Summary availability note (numbers and scope covered above) - The admission documents published by the school's admissions area specify the reservation and sondagem amounts and the timing of the first installment (January) and how those admission charges are applied to the annual tuition. Broader tuition figures available in the market for the 2025/26 period appear as the ranges and representative monthly amounts shown above; reported monthly figures differ by campus, curricular pathway (for example, IB), and step of education. For admissions and binding contract terms, the school's admissions/tesouraria documentation should be consulted at the time of application and matrícula. | Fee details Application / registration fee - No separate annual registration (matrícula) fee is published for the Escola Suíço‑Brasileira de São Paulo; publicly compiled fee listings have reported no paid matriculation charge. Tuition fees by school level (monthly and annual figures) - Infantil 1 & 2 (Education Infantil): Monthly: BRL 5,466.00. Estimated annual cost (12 x monthly): BRL 65,592.00. - Fundamental I (1º cycle): Monthly: BRL 9,656.00. Estimated annual cost (12 x monthly): BRL 115,872.00. - Fundamental II (2º cycle): Monthly: BRL 9,656.00. Estimated annual cost (12 x monthly): BRL 115,872.00. - Ensino Médio (High School / IB): Monthly: BRL 10,478.00. Estimated annual cost (12 x monthly): BRL 125,736.00. Billing schedule and payment terms - Public fee listings present the amounts as monthly (mensalidade). No definitive public schedule (number of instalments per year, early‑payment discounts, or exact billing dates) for the school's tuition billing was located in the available published materials. Families should expect monthly billing practices consistent with Brazilian private‑school norms but confirm the exact instalment count and due dates directly with the school. Boarding / residence fees - The school operates as a day school (no boarding facilities). There are no boarding fees because boarding is not provided. Other costs and typical additional charges - Books and materials: A 2026 book list is published for the school; families should budget separately for required textbooks and materials listed by year/grade. - Uniforms: No published uniform price schedule was found; families should expect a uniform purchase cost but must obtain the current uniform list and prices from the school. - Extracurricular activities, school trips, language exam fees and optional services: not listed as fixed national fees — these are commonly charged in addition to tuition and vary by activity and year; specific program fees were not published in the publicly available documents reviewed. Refunds and cancellations - No publicly available, detailed refund or cancellation policy (for tuition, deposits or optional services) was found in the materials reviewed. Parents should note that private‑school refund policies vary (non‑refundable application fees, prorated refunds in some cases, or forfeiture of a deposit) and should confirm the school's current policy in writing at enrolment. Accepted payment methods and fee payment options - No definitive public list of accepted payment methods (for example, bank transfer, bank slip / boleto, credit card) was located in the documents reviewed. Confirm the school's accepted payment methods, billing platform and whether automatic instalment plans or online payment portals are available before finalising enrolment. Practical notes for parents (concise) - The monthly tuition amounts above are the published monthly figures reported in a recent public compilation of Brazil private‑school fees for the 2025/26 cycle; the school is a bilingual day school offering IB in the upper years. Parents should confirm instalment counts, exact billing dates, whether tuition is billed over 12 or 13 instalments, and any additional mandatory charges (materials, activity fees, insurance, etc.) directly with the school's administrative office. Brief summary of what was located and what was not published - Located: recent published monthly tuition figures by level (monthly amounts and the school's status as a day school). - Not published in publicly available materials reviewed: a current, line‑by‑line fee schedule that lists an application/registration fee for 2025/26 or 2026/27, the school's formal billing schedule (exact number of instalments or billing months), detailed uniform prices, a formal refund/cancellation policy, and the explicit list of accepted payment methods. |

Admission is defined by interviews with the Coordination, visits to classes, and a pedagogical assessment in Portuguese and Mathematics. Depending on the grade, assessments in English and French are also required. A German assessment is conducted for applicants who have German language fluency. If admitted, the school offers a special adaptation program in German or Portuguese as needed. Step 5. Ensino Médio (high school). To be admitted, all candidates must undergo interviews with the Coordination, visits to classes, and pedagogical assessments in Mathematics, Portuguese, English, German, and other subjects at the school's discretion. Step 6. Documents required for enrollment. Educação Infantil requires: copies of the student's birth certificate; copy of the student's RG or RNE; copy of RG or RNE and CPF of the financial guardian; and an updated vaccination card. Ensino Fundamental and Ensino Médio require: copies of the birth certificate; copy of RG or RNE of the student; copy of RG or RNE and CPF of the financial guardian; a Transfer Certificate from the previous school; the student's Transcript; a Declaration of Financial Clearance from the previous school; and the updated vaccination declaration (DVA). Step 7. Application form. The application form (Ficha de Inscrição) notes that submission does not guarantee a vacancy. The form collects information such as the intended grade, year of entry, student details, parental contacts, and language information, among other fields, to support the admissions review. |

Scholarships

Scholarships Full scholarships are available to candidates who meet the established criteria. The criteria require proximity of residence within 20 kilometers of the Vila Andrade Campus and a family income not exceeding 1.5 times the minimum wage per person, based on a socio‑economic analysis. If a candidate does not meet these criteria or the required supporting documents are not provided, the scholarship is not granted. The applicant's legal guardians are responsible for the accuracy of all information and documents. The socio‑economic analysis invites families to upload the necessary documents and complete the digital form; results are communicated by email and published on the admissions site. The scholarship process is part of the Vila Andrade admissions cycle and is followed by the standard enrollment steps (signature of the Enrollment Term and payment of the first instalment).
