For Elementary International School of Gdańsk (Grades 1–5 and Grades 6–8) that fee is PLN 2,000. Tuition fees by year group (amounts, per‑month and per‑year where published) - Grades 1–5 (Elementary): - Standard monthly tuition (no timely‑payment discount): PLN 3,463 per month, paid over 10 months (annual total PLN 34,630). - Monthly amount with the 5% timely‑payment discount applied: PLN 3,290 per month, paid over 10 months (annual total PLN 32,900). - The school charges tuition as 10 monthly instalments each school year. - Grades 6–8 (Elementary): - The page for the Elementary School lists the organizational fee as PLN 2,000 and an annual materials charge of PLN 200 for these grades; a specific monthly tuition figure for Grades 6–8 is not shown on that page. - Preschool (International Preschool of Gdańsk) and High School (High International School of Gdańsk): - The school's regulations require an annual materials (starter kit) fee for Preschool and Elementary; the amount for preschool is set by the Managing Director and notified to parents by the end of June each year. Specific published tuition numbers for the Preschool and for the High School were not listed on the Elementary fees page used here. The published payment rules and discount provisions apply across the schools. Other compulsory fees / other costs - Annual fee for educational materials (school starter kit): - Grades 1–5: PLN 550 per year (as published for the Elementary School). - Grades 6–8: PLN 200 per year (as published for the Elementary School). - Preschool: an annual materials fee is required and its amount is set and announced by the Managing Director (payment deadline and account are specified in the school's financial rules). - Extra costs such as uniforms, optional extracurricular programmes or exam fees are not itemised as mandatory, fixed items on the Elementary School fees page; amounts for optional services should be treated as additional to the listed tuition and material fees. Billing schedule and payment terms - Tuition is billed and payable in advance over 10 months each school year; the payment deadline for each month is the 10th day of that month (the payment date is the date funds are credited to the school's bank account). Late payment results in loss of the timely‑payment discount and interest/collection measures per the Civil Code; two months' arrears may lead to contract termination after notice. - Timely‑payment discount: paying each monthly instalment by its due date (by the 10th) qualifies that month's tuition for a 5% discount (rounded in PLN). Paying the full year in advance by 10 September may be considered for an additional discretionary discount of up to 3% on the annual tuition (granted at the Managing Director's discretion); if the contract is terminated after a full‑year prepayment, unused months are refunded on a pro‑rata basis. Discounts - Family discounts on tuition and organizational fee: second child 10%; third child 30%; fourth child and subsequent 50% (discount on organizational fee applies as described in the regulations). Continuing‑education reductions also apply for children moving between branches. Other merit‑based discounts may be granted at the school's discretion. Refund information - The organizational (registration) fee is non‑refundable except where the branch/class into which a student was enrolled is not created; in that case the organizational fee is refundable. Annual prepayments of tuition (if made) are refundable pro‑rata for unused months starting from the effective date of contract termination. Normal notice and payment obligations apply when a family resigns (one calendar‑month notice to the end of a month). Boarding / residential provision - The International School of Gdańsk's published pages describe Preschool, Elementary and High School provision and do not list boarding or residential (internat) services; no boarding fees are published. The school's fee rules and payment regulations apply to day‑school tuition. Fee payment options and bank details - Payments are processed to the school's bank account; the regulations specify the account details for the International School of Gdańsk (payments for the annual materials fee shown for payment to BGŻ BNP Paribas, IBAN: PL92 1600 1462 1837 4600 5000 0001, SWIFT/BIC: PPABPLPK). Tuition payments should be made to the bank account specified in the e‑mail the school sends to parents/guardians. The school's published rules require bank transfer payments to the account communicated by the school; other payment methods (e.g., card) are not listed as standard options in the published payment regulations. Consequences of non‑payment / interest - Failure to pay by the deadline removes eligibility for the 5% timely‑payment discount for that month; statutory interest may be applied for late payments and, after two months' arrears (not necessarily consecutive), the school may issue notice and may terminate the education contract if arrears are not settled. Summary note on published figures - The Elementary School (Grades 1–5) publishes specific tuition amounts (monthly and implied annual totals) and material fees; the regulations document sets the school‑wide payment rules, discounts and refund conditions and provides the bank details for payments. For Grades 6–8 the Elementary page shows the organizational fee and a materials fee but does not publish a specific monthly tuition figure on that page. Tuition figures for Preschool and for the High School were not itemised as explicit monthly tuition amounts on the Elementary School fees page. The school's payment regulations and discount rules apply across all branches. |

Admissions
|
Admissions 1. Registration and documents: The registration form (Preschool form for Nursery and Reception; School form for Class 0 onwards) must be filled out and signed by both parents. Additionally, for children from Class 2 onwards, school reports for the previous two school years must be provided. 2. Interview and assessment: An admissions meeting is conducted with the candidate and their parents prior to admission. An informal interview is conducted with all Primary and Secondary applicants to assess their language skills. Secondary school applicants must pass entry tests in English Language and Mathematics. The language of instruction is English. 3. Admissions decision: A decision regarding admission is made after the meeting, interview, and analysis of the candidate's school reports and other documentation. Admission to Secondary school is confirmed only after successful completion of the entry tests. The Admissions Team reviews all materials to determine fit with BISG's programme. 4. Registration Fee & Invoice: The registration fee is 2000 zł. Instructions for paying the registration fee will be sent to the parents by the Accountant. Once the fee is paid, an invoice will be issued. 5. Placement on the List/Waiting List: After receiving the registration fee payment, the child will be placed on the list of candidates or the waiting list for the relevant class in the upcoming school year. The order of applications will be observed. Siblings of BISG students may be prioritized, provided all criteria are met. 6. Place Confirmation: If a place is being sought for the current school year, the first candidate's parents will be contacted to confirm acceptance as soon as a place becomes available in the relevant year group. For those registering for the next school year, the list of candidates will be verified around April, when we receive confirmation of continuation or resignation from the parents of our current students. This will help determine the number of vacancies for the next school year. 7. Signing the Contract: Once a place for a child is confirmed by the school and accepted by the parents, the school contract will be prepared and signed. In cases of admission for the next school year, the contract is typically signed by the end of June. 8. Refund of the Registration Fee: If a child does not secure a place at our school, or if the parents decide to withdraw from the waiting list prior to being offered a place, the registration fee will be refunded. 9. Admissions Documents to Download: School Registration Form and Preschool Registration Form. 10. Admissions Policy notes: BISG Primary School Admissions Policy outlines the criteria and required documents for classes 1–8 (registration form, birth certificate copy, last two years of school reports, 2000 zł registration fee) and the criteria including behaviour, English language proficiency, and interview; if applications exceed vacancies, the date of registration determines order, with priority for BISG siblings if criteria are met. BISG Secondary School Admissions Policy outlines entry requirements for external and internal candidates, including entrance exams in Mathematics and English or equivalent internal criteria, and an English-language interview. Waiting periods and documentation requirements are also described. | Admissions The school accepts new students throughout the entire school year. To enroll a child at the Elementary International School of Gdansk, schedule a meeting with the School Principal, in person or online via Google Meet. Open Days are offered to visit and learn about the EISG community. The School Principal makes the final admission decision based on class availability. English language requirements vary by grade; fluency in English is not a prerequisite for admission. After the admission interview, the following steps must be completed: submit the completed application form to the school office; pay the non-refundable application fee; provide a school report or certificate from the previous academic year; submit a completed student declaration sheet; sign a contract; provide a photo for the school ID. Once these requirements are fulfilled, a place is secured for the child. Before the first day of school, provide information on any special needs, dietary requirements, and data protection details. Admissions for Grade 1 are rolling and begin annually on January 29 for graduates of the International Preschool of Gdansk and on February 19 for other applicants, until all places are filled. Admission criteria include date of submission of the school application card; age of the child (priority for those at least 7 years old in the calendar year of starting Grade 1); readiness to start school; having a sibling attending IPG, EISG, or HISG; previous preschool education at a facility run by the Gdańsk Educational Foundation; being the child of a graduate of schools run by the GFO; previous education in an English-speaking kindergarten or abroad. The final admission decision is made by the Principal after the meeting, and parents are informed by email within two weeks. To finalize enrollment, the organizational fee of 2,000 PLN must be paid within one week of a positive admission decision to the following bank account: 92 1600 1462 1837 4600 5000 0001 (Bank BGŻ BNP PARIBAS S.A.). The school reserves the right to refuse admission if it cannot provide an education that meets the student's needs or if the Parents' expectations clearly do not align with the school's profile and mission. If spaces are limited, siblings of current students have priority; students not admitted are offered a place on a waiting list. A one-month notice is required to withdraw, and a sign-out checklist must be completed before contract termination. All families applying agree to support the school's mission, policies, and IB guidelines and learner profile. Files include the Application form and student's educational history, available for download. Biała 1. Applications and historical documents are available via the download links. |
