Other mandatory or optional costs
- "Other Concepts" (obligatory) included in the monthly invoice cover specified items such as delivery of certain workbooks and texts, pedagogical outings, provision of teaching materials, plastic arts supplies, practical activities, third halves of inter‑school matches, and similar items; amounts for "Other Concepts" are shown per class in the monthly breakdown above. - International exam fees (optional) and any payments the school makes on behalf of parents for optional exams will be charged when applicable with prior written authorization. - Cafeteria (meal) service is optional, billed according to the days the service is requested. - Uniform: the school publishes a uniform specification and price list separately; families are required to supply the uniform as specified.

The Scholarship Fund covers tuition and re‑enrolment in the event of death or total and permanent incapacity of the person responsible for payment, subject to the Fund's conditions.
Fee payment options
- The school issues invoices and specifies payment arrangements on those invoices. The General Conditions set payment due dates, surcharge for late payment, and billing structure but do not list a public, fixed menu of payment channels (bank account/CBU, debit authorization or card) in the General Conditions document; the invoice or the school's Finance/Administration office provides the specific payment instructions accepted for each billed amount.

History
History
Located in the heart of the fashionable Belgrano area in Buenos Aires, Belgrano Day School holds a centennial tradition for academic excellence. It is bilingual and coeducational, offering a national and international curriculum for pupils aged 2 to 18 years old. Graduates obtain the University of Cambridge International Examination awards (IGCSE, AICE, AS and A levels) and the national Bilingual Baccalaureate. Throughout its history, the school has had a Catholic orientation and an ecumenical spirit of tolerance and integration. Participation in the monthly mass and catechesis sessions is optional.
History
In 1981, in a stately house on O'Higgins Street in the Belgrano neighborhood, inspired by teacher Estela María Irrera de Pallaro and with the support of her husband Andrés Pallaro, a kindergarten was founded that later became Islands International School. Years later, with much effort, clear goals and dedication, the primary school came to life, today located in a large building on Virrey del Pino and Arcos Streets. In 1988, closely following the most advanced programs in Argentina and the world, the secondary section was created, currently located on Amenábar Street. A building was constructed with the spaces and equipment necessary to meet the needs of a modern education. In 1990, Islands also included the International Baccalaureate in its programs, a prestigious association of schools based in Geneva, Switzerland. One of the most important objectives is to promote the integral development of students so that they can harmoniously acquire the skills needed for admission to higher education and, consequently, to the increasingly demanding world of work. Therefore, it is important that they achieve fluency in Spanish, English and Italian. Passing the International Baccalaureate diploma also means that students obtain the Maturità Linguistica o Scientifica, a qualification recognized by the Italian Government as completion of secondary education and acceptance to university at the European level.
Community
Community
The Belgrano Day School community draws pupils from a wide area of Buenos Aires, with the majority from Belgrano, Nuñez and Palermo. All pupils in primary, middle and senior levels belong to a house—North, South, East or West—and compete in internal events. The school employs over one hundred teachers and support staff from Argentina and abroad, many bilingual, with about fifty percent full time. Pupils of all religious beliefs are welcome; there is a Catholic orientation historically with optional Mass and catechesis; shared facilities include a library, dining-room, gymnasium, laboratories, auditorium, a music academy, a first aid centre, and a 20-hectare sports field in El Talar.

Younger students develop foundational computational thinking through mouse use, Typing games, and programmable robots such as Bee Bots, and use Code.org, Scratch JR, Scratch and Kodable. These initiatives are part of Media & ICT Literacy across the curriculum to foster independent thinking and creative problem-solving.
