Admissions 1. Applications for admission are accepted throughout the school year. AIS Jakarta follows the Australian Curriculum and the school year runs from January to December. At admission, students are evaluated for year-level placement with the aim of progressing to the International Baccalaureate Diploma and/or the AIS High School Diploma. The admissions team is available to assist applicants to ensure a smooth enrolment process. | Admissions Join Our Community! NZSJ seeks to admit students who we believe will thrive in our environment. Education is a partnership between the school, students and families, and we aim to understand your family's goals and values to make sure that NZSJ is the right school for your family. To that end, the admissions process is as follows: 1. Visit, Tour, and Trial: Nothing beats coming and seeing the School for yourself and giving your child the opportunity to trial. A Discovery Chat with the Head of School, a tour of the School, and a trial for your child are offered. An extended trial is available if needed. You can schedule a Discovery Chat, a tour, or a trial by contacting our Admissions Officer. Information on your child's Grade Placement, School Fees and our Academic Calendar for the year is available. 2. Submit Enrolment Form: Once you have decided NZSJ is the right school for your child, contact our Admissions Office for an application form, or download the Application Form. Admission into NZSJ is by assessment and is designed to make sure that we are the right school for your child to thrive. 3. Pay Deposit: A non-refundable application fee is to be paid upon submission of the application form. 4. Registration Confirmation: Based on the assessment, the School will offer your child a place in an Offer Letter. The place is confirmed once payment of the Annual Development Levy and first tuition is made as per the Offer Letter. |

Scholarships 1. The AIS Indonesia Scholarship Programme was launched in 2015 to provide opportunities for deserving Indonesian students each year. Four academic scholarships are available to academically talented Indonesian students who would benefit from and contribute to AIS's international campus in Pejaten, South Jakarta. The scholarship covers 100% of tuition, 100% of the IB Diploma exam fees, and 100% of the capital development fees for the duration of the program; the family covers other costs such as uniforms, camps, and extra-curricular activities. 2. Eligibility requires Indonesian citizenship residing in Indonesia, fluent English, an outstanding academic record, and alignment with the IB Learner Profile; applicants must not currently be enrolled at an AIS-Indonesia campus and must be in Year 10. 3. The application requires a completed Scholarship Application Form, school reports for the past two years, a 500-word essay, two passport photos, copies of the passport and birth certificate, SKHUN, and the Junior High School Certificate. 4. The deadline for the 2025 scholarship application is Thursday, 22 May 2025. 5. Applications are submitted by email to scholarship@ais-Indonesia.com with the required documents. | Scholarships NZSJ Scholarship NZSJ offers scholarships to reward exceptional performance and a passion for learning in accordance with the opportunity to realise one's full potential. Scholarships are given to deserving students based on their academic ability, leadership potential, unique abilities, or other characteristics. Candidates may hold a maximum of one of four scholarship categories: Academic Scholarship, Arts Scholarships, Sports Scholarships, and Koru Scholarships. Academic Scholarship: Exceptional new students are eligible to apply; the applicant should have attained exceptional academic results in science, maths, and English. Arts Scholarships: Applicants should demonstrate aptitude in one major of dance, visual art, or drama; a background in music should demonstrate talent on at least one instrument or achieve ABRSM grade 6 or higher; a portfolio or audition may be required to showcase artistic abilities. Sports Scholarships: Candidates should demonstrate skill in two competitive sports; applicable to exceptional new students or ongoing students participating in a sports exhibition. Koru Scholarships: Students with special talents or who have consistently achieved excellence in a particular field may also be considered for a scholarship. Eligibility Criteria: 1) Academic Scholarship — exceptional results in science, maths and English; strong commitment to academic excellence. 2) Arts Scholarship — exceptional talent and dedication in arts; portfolio or audition may be required. 3) Sport Scholarship — exceptional sportsmanship, dedication and skill; sports resume or video may be required. 4) Koru Scholarship — special talents and leadership. General Requirements: Maintain good academic standing; submit a completed scholarship application form; provide two letters of recommendation; write a personal statement (max 500 words); participate in an interview if required; agree to terms including community service. Documentation: Transcripts or academic records; art portfolios (Arts); sports resumes (Sports); proof of residence and citizenship; any additional materials specified by the scholarship committee. Application Deadline: The application deadline for the School Scholarship Programme is January 2026. Late or incomplete applications will not be considered. Selection Process: The scholarship selection committee will evaluate all applications based on eligibility, documentation, and interviews. Scholarship awards are competitive and based on merit and potential. Scholarship Benefits: The School Scholarship Programme covers partial school fees; the exact amount and duration are determined by the scholarship committee.
