French-curriculum international schools in Belgium follow the French national education system from maternelle through lycée and many are part of or aligned with the AEFE network, preparing pupils for French national diplomas and the French International Baccalaureate (BFI). Instruction is primarily in French but schools commonly offer strong language pathways - including English and German - and integrate local Dutch where relevant; bilingual classes and international sections are available at several campuses. Fees depend on the provider and the pupil’s age: some French-curriculum schools in Brussels publish annual tuition in the low-to-mid thousands for primary rising to around €10k - €11k at lycée level, while the wider international-school market in Brussels spans a much larger band. Admissions follow the Northern-Hemisphere school year with the main intake for September and many AEFE schools opening online registration or formal application windows in the early calendar months; mid-year places may be offered subject to language assessment and space.
